How To Install And Use WordPress Themes

By default, WordPress use the default theme. But you can give a great look to your blog by changing WordPress themes.

There are thousands of free and paid themes available for WordPress.

Basically, as a beginner, you can go with the free theme. But if you want to make a great looking blog you can select paid themes which add more features and widgets to your blog.

Steps To Change Your WordPress Themes

Login to WordPress dashboard and click on Appearance » Themes

Click on Add New button.

On the next screen, you can search theme from the 4100 free WordPress themes that are available in the official WordPress.org themes directory. To install your desired theme drag the mouse on it and you will see an Install button. Click on it and wait for the theme to be installed.

After getting installed theme, you will see there an Activate button click on it to activate the installed theme.

Once you have installed and activated your theme, you can customize the theme (menu, widgets, CSS) by clicking on Customize under the Appearance menu.

That’s all you have successfully installed your desired theme.
