How To Install WordPress Plugins

WordPress plugins are apps that allow you to add new features to your website.

After installing WordPress, it’s time to install plugins to add more amazing features such as gallery, contact form, slideshow, etc to your blog.

There are thousands of free and paid plugins available for WordPress.

Now, we will teach you that how to install WordPress plugins from your WordPress dashboard.

Install WordPress Plugins

After login to your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New

You will see a screen as in screenshot given below.

Search the plugins name by using the search bar located on the right side of the top.

After that, you will see a bunch of listings like the example above.

To install the plugin, click on “Install Now” button.

It may take few seconds to install. After getting install plugin click on “Activate” button.

Because plugin will not work unless you activate it.

That’s all, you have successfully installed your first WordPress plugin. That was not too bad, right?
